Leroy Lemons
1938-01-01 2012-08-27Leroy Lemons was born January 1, 1938 in Egypt, Texas to Walter and Ora Lee (White) Lemons. Leroy was raised in Sugar Land, Texas, graduated from M.R. Wood High School, served six years in the United States Army and retired from Soltex Polymer Chemical Plant. Leroy was an active member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church and the Male Chorus.
Leroy was preceded in death by parents, Walter and Ora Lemons; grandparents, Riley and Lonia Lemons and Annie White; brothers, Walter Lemons Jr., Eddie Lemons and Alfred Joseph.
He also leaves to mourn his passing; baby sister, Rita Jo Lemons who he brought home from the hospital and raised as his daughter; brothers, James Riley Lemons, Raymond Lemons, Oliver Lemons, Ricky Lemons; sisters LaVerne Mitchell, Marizell Lemons and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends who loved him.
